Who we are

What we collect

When you subscribe to PopuLens Pro, we collect your email address and process your payment through Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or billing address — that information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers. When you complete a payment, Stripe provides us with your email address and, if entered during checkout, your name. This information is stored securely and used only to manage your subscription. We do not collect any information about the areas you search on the map.

How we use your information

Your email address is used solely to verify your Pro subscription status. We do not send marketing emails, share your email with third parties, or use it for any purpose other than confirming your access.

Cookies and tracking

PopuLens does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site uses essential cookies and local browser storage only — these are necessary for the map and subscription features to function and do not track you across other sites.

Third-party services

PopuLens uses the following third-party services:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled. We never see or store your full card details.
• Mapbox — map rendering. Mapbox may log tile requests as part of normal service operation.
• Supabase — secure database hosting for subscription records.

Data retention

We retain your email and subscription status for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and would like your data deleted, email us at codydm16@gmail.com and we will remove your record within 30 days.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing codydm16@gmail.com. California residents and EU users have additional rights under CCPA and GDPR respectively — we honor all such requests.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
